You're forgetting Cullen and Holland, who will both play parts this season. I'd be surprised if we saw Carroll at all TBH, and I don't think Martinez will cut it, plenty of time for him to leave.

I really don't think it matters.
The bin-dippers will be looking to be fast out of the blocks and kill the game in the first 5-10 minutes.
It could just be down to winning the toss and keeping possession for the first 10 minutes: get the kop on edge.
I suspect a fight fire with fire, though, and a 5-4-ish result. 3-3 by half time

He apparently was training early in pre-season to try to impress Dick Emery. he hasn't been training with us though, so won't be familiar with our formation, his new team mates, tactics, style of play, set pieces etc

We may have improved but not sure why people think we will be holding a majority of the possession against Liverpool?
Hopefully we hold the ball more than previous seasons but cant see anything other than Liverpool having the lions share.
Antonio would still be an ideal fit to start. On the break he will cause problems and can create something out of nothing.
